1. What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, used to restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial features.

2. What areas can be treated?

3. How long do results last?
Typically 6–18 months depending on the area treated, the product used, and your metabolism.

4. Does it hurt?
Most fillers contain a local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort. Numbing cream can also be applied before treatment.

5. Is there downtime?
You may experience swelling, redness, or bruising for a few days. Most clients return to normal activities immediately.

6. How quickly will I see results?
Results are visible straight away, with final results seen after swelling settles (around 1–2 weeks).

7. Are fillers safe?
When performed by a qualified practitioner, fillers are very safe. Risks include swelling, bruising, and rare complications such as vascular occlusion.

8. How should I prepare?
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or blood-thinning supplements 24 hours before to reduce the risk of bruising.
